Bring back any thrown object.
Squirrels belong in trees.
Come running when they call you.
And watch out where you pee.
Don’t sleep on the sofa.
Sit and stay and heel.
Tolerate the mailman
And any food that hits the ground is yours!
Dog rules.
These are the dog rules,
Think of them as dog tools
To get you through your good dog years.
(Here’s another tip)
While in your favorite room
In comes a baby human,
Keep smiling while he’s yanking on your ears.
With a bark, bark, bark and a woof, woof woof
And a pant, pant, pant and a sniff, sniff, sniff
Dog rules.
No begging at the table.
No cats in the yard.
Don’t jump up on visitors
And any food that hits the ground is yours! Dog rules.
